    Beautiful photos Fr Justin!
    Is there wildlife, birds on the mountain?
    Is it completely silent, or do the wind currents increase w altitude?

      Sinai finch can be seen near the monastery, and as you walk in the mountains, a covey of partridges will suddenly take to flight. It can be windy up in the mountains, but not often. The silence is profound.
