Do the lamps burn olive oil or do they use other types of oil now? Does the Sinai produce olives?
Your photos are always interesting alnd intrigue me.

At Sinai we only use olive oil, and some of it is the oil that we produce from our own olives. We still have the massive stone wheel operated by a donkey that would crush the olives into a paste, and the heavy press that would squeeze out the oil. But today we produce the oil with a modern machine that spins out the oil with a centrifuge.
