The first rays of the winter sun shine on the bell tower and minaret. After I took the first photograph, a dove flew up to the highest cross to catch the first warmth of the sunlight.

The scene is so peaceful.
Father Justin, Was there a bell tower at the current location before the current one was built. If not what was in the location?
Richard
When the church was built, in the middle of the sixth century, two foundations for towers were constructed on either side of the west end. In 1870, the present bell tower was built on the north side, using the original foundation of granite ashlars. The foundation on the south side remains as it was.
Friendly greetings from Finland.
Tonight I saw your blog for the first time in my life.
My idea and thought was to thank you for the serial of your
morning sun photos.
They filled my sinful soul with light and a wonderful joy.
