In many places of the world, churches are closed. Behind our sixth century fortress walls, services here continue uninterrupted.
The vestments, banners, and other hangings in the church are still black, but already rays of sunlight enter at dawn.

The constancy of the monastery is so amazing to me.
What a beautiful Service! Ive always perceived Gods presence as light. It seems the sun is brighter or suddenly appears from the clouds during my prayers.
