Beautiful Fr Justin! Is it a wild raspberry or blackberry? I’ve heard reports of both, and was curious. My blackberry is really doing well, it has both blooms and berries
My Grandparents’ farm had many blackberries, so fun to pick with my family!
The botanical name for the Burning Bush is Rubus ulmifolius subsp. sanctus. It is a bramble, in the same genus as the blackberry and raspberry. It has beautiful lilac coloured blossoms, but it never sets any berries.
