I think the light on the wood post is beautiful.
I have old brown furniture that has old woodworm damage in places but is still strong. They were tall broad trees before they were supporting us or a door or window post.
So lovely to live with and pray for the craftsmen who made them and were at peace with anonymity. They would have felt the sun too and wondered about their actions in the world and what maybe awaits after death.
