The Burning Bush in Flower

In the springtime, the Burning Bush comes into flower. The petals are lilac coloured when they first open, but later fade to white. The plant never sets any berries.

The botanic name is Rubus sanctus. It is a member of the bramble family.

Are there pollinating plants of the Bush within kilometres of the monastery? it must be a very isolated and ancient clone

The botanical name is Rubus sanctus. It has delicate blossoms that open lavender and fade to pink. It never sets any berries. There are no other such plants within kilometres of the monastery.
