On the feast of Saint Catherine at the Sinai dependency in Athens, the icon on the iconostasion is framed with beautiful and fragrant roses and other flowers.

This is deeply beautiful Fr Justin! I have an lampada lit by my St Catherine icon at home at all times. I have two lampadas I try to keep lit, one by Saint Mama Gabriel of Georgia (Mama is Father in Georgian 🙂 as you know I am sure), and the other is by St Herman of Alaska, St Catherine, ArchAngel Michael… during the day I have a candle by St John of Shanghai and San Francisco and the Mother of God Joy of All Who Sorrow that is a copy of the one in the small chapel in NYC, maybe you were there years ago! 🙂 Happy belated Feast day and I have been thinking of you a lot these days!Â
