It seems moon has multicolor halos around it. I wonder if its an ion/magnetosphere effect, beautiful!
These photos strike a peaceful chord in my soul. I was very blessed to be able to climb Mount Sinai on February 24th, 2022-the day after your photos. I took advantage of the camel-and was able to behold the moonlight on Jebel Musa and surroundings and deeply reflect on the pilgrims of the Exodus and of today. It was incredible and I experienced overwhelming feelings of the presence of God. Mount Sinai and St. Catherine’s now hold a very special place in my heart. Since leaving I long to return and pray with the icons. I was grateful to be able to see what we could in the monastery. Thank you for this posting. I pray others can experience this holy place. I greatly appreciate that you open your holy ground to pilgrims. Blessings from Omaha, Nebraska USA
